Monel K-500 Fasteners

 Monel K-500 fasteners are high-strength corrosion-resistant components made from a nickel-copper alloy enhanced with aluminum and titanium. These fasteners are widely used in demanding environments such as marine engineering, oil and gas applications, and chemical processing. Composition and Properties

Monel K-500 is a precipitation-hardenable version of Monel 400, offering improved mechanical strength and hardness. The alloy typically contains about 63% nickel, 30% copper, and small amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. The addition of aluminum and titanium allows the material to be heat treated for greater tensile strength and wear resistance without compromising its corrosion resistance.
